Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
A fat-soluble antioxidant that protects hair and skin lipids from oxidation — extending both product shelf life and skin youth.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) is the master fat-soluble antioxidant. In beard oil, it plays two roles: protecting the carrier oils from going rancid, and protecting the skin's own lipid barrier from oxidative damage. Almost every quality beard oil, including the Grizzly Gold Standard, includes Vitamin E at 0.5–1% as both preservative and active ingredient.
- ›Fat-soluble antioxidant — the master preservative.
- ›Extends beard oil shelf life by 6–12 months.
- ›Protects skin lipids from UV and pollution damage.
- ›Effective at 0.5–1% in leave-on products.
- ›Naturally present in sweet almond and argan oils.
