Hemp Seed Oil
A perfectly balanced omega-3/omega-6 oil that mimics skin lipids — ideal for sensitive, itchy skin.
Cold-pressed hemp seed oil is one of the most balanced carrier oils in cosmetics. Its omega-3 to omega-6 ratio (1:3) matches what human skin needs for barrier repair, and its non-comedogenic rating makes it safe for all skin types. In beard oil and itch-relief formulations, hemp seed oil is the ingredient that quiets inflamed skin fastest.

Why hemp oil is the base of most itch-relief beard products
Beard itch is fundamentally a skin barrier problem — dry, inflamed skin under the hair. Hemp seed oil's gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) content directly supports barrier lipid production, which is why Grizzly's Itch Relief Beard Cream is built around it.
Not to be confused with CBD oil
Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seed and contains no cannabinoids. CBD oil is a completely different product extracted from the flower. Beard oils marketed as 'hemp' almost always mean the seed oil.
