Choosing between the five profiles
Timberline reads fresh, woody and earthy — pine, cedar and amber, the closest thing here to standing in an old-growth forest after rain. Midnight River is aquatic and clean, built on bergamot and marine notes for men who want fresh rather than warm. Campfire is smoke, spice and leather, the heaviest of the five and the best in cold weather. Northern Lights is bright and cool, with a mineral edge that works year round. How to wear it so it lasts
Fragrance worn over conditioned skin lasts noticeably longer than the same fragrance on dry skin, because oil holds the notes that would otherwise flash off in the first hour. Apply to pulse points after moisturising, and do not rub it in — friction breaks the top notes down.
